The time has come to release our annual homage to the accidentally violent, disastrous fly swatter we call Big Hugs. In its 8th year, Hugs has managed to break through the worm hole and find itself up against the real monsters - human kind.
For this year's release, we went full mad badger on the spread. On Sunday, December 11th, we present 4 varieties of Big Hugs for your mantel. Paired with merch to keep your look fresh and 3 check out lines for ease of transaction - you should walk out greased up and seasonally fluffed.
There will be complimentary small bites, one off suds for sampling, Dark Matter coffee, donuts, friendship and probably people dressed as cats.
We're also offering a pre-sale option for the first time ever, more on that below.

2016 BIG HUGS "WHOLE ENCHILADA" PRESALE
On Friday, December 9th, at 10am we will sell a set number of full allotments of 2016 Big Hugs online via Brown Paper Tickets. For $199 (before the BTP service fee, sorry) you will get:
- 4 bombers of Big Hugs Imperial Stout with Coffee
- 2 bombers of Big Hugs Imperial Stout with Coffee and Vanilla
- 2 bombers of Salted Chocolate Espresso Big Hugs Imperial Stout
- 2 bombers of Bourbon Barrel Aged Big Hugs Imperial Stout with Coffee
- 1 Big Hugs Imperial Stout glass
- 1 Big Hugs Imperial Stout coffee cup
You will be invited to pick up your full allotment between 3pm on 12/11 and 3pm on 12/18 with the exception of Monday, December 12th (we'll be closed, don't try to come that day). If you do not pick up your allotment by 3pm on December 18th you will forfeit it to the hungry beasts that live beneath our cellar. There will be no refunds and no exceptions. Please read all of the fine print on the BPT website before your purchase. This is for pre-sale only, if you want a growler, howler, or anything not included in the pre-sale, you may have to wait in a line on release day.
PROXIES ARE NOT PERMITTED. By PROXIES, we mean you cannot pay and have someone else pick up for you. You must personally pick up and show a valid ID at time of pick up to verify age & identity.
We enjoy the interactions and collection of faces the Big Hugs release provides year after year, but we recognize that it's not convenient for everyone, and we wanted to do our part to compromise. If you elect to purchase your bombers through the presale, we'd still love to see you come through and get down on fount Hugs in the tap room or brewery on Sunday, December 11th.
