Kannah Creek has released its traditional winter seasonal, Vertical Drop, and a new small batch brew, Peach Sour. Vertical Drop is available in 6-packs and will be on tap in restaurants and bars throughout Colorado. The new Peach Sour is set to be distributed throughout Colorado in 22 oz. bomber bottles.
Vertical Drop is a complex malt driven ruby red ale balanced with a light hop bitterness. Vertical Drop has an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 6.2% and an international bittering unit (IBU) of 40.
Vertical Drop Robust Red Ale will be available through February. Vertical Drop joins the ranks of Kannah Creek’s three mainstay bottled beers including Lands End Amber, Standing Wave Pale Ale, and the Broken Oar IPA.
The Peach Sour is the fourth installment in the Sour Beer Project Small Batch Series started earlier this year at Kannah Creek. The Peach Sour is a session style Belgian blonde ale soured with fresh peaches from Palisade, it has an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 4.7% and an international bittering unit (IBU) of 18.
