WHAT: The CAN'd Aid Foundation teamed up with Oskar Blues Brewery to can a truck load of water (50,400 cans) for Hurricane Matthew victims in North Carolina.
WHEN: Friday October 14 (7 AM) - 50,400 cans filled at Oskar Blues Brewery
WHERE: 342 Mountain Industrial Dr., Brevard, North Carolina 28712.
Shipped to Manna Church immediately. 5117 Cliffdale Rd.,
Fayetteville, NC 28314. Arriving Friday.
WHY: Catastrophic flooding of "Hurricane Katrina-like proportions" has affected eastern parts of North Carolina leaving thousands without potable water, power and shelter.
Founded in 2013 following the devastating floods that hit Lyons and Longmont, ColoRADo, more than $2 million has been raised to support doin' good efforts around the US. CAN'd Aid, the do-goodery arm of Oskar Blues Brewery, is all about diggin' in and doin' good where we CAN.
Its efforts are focused on:
