Nashville, TN – Black Belle Imperial Stout, a limited-edition collaboration between Blackstone Brewing Company and Nelson’s Green Brier® Distillery, returns for the 2016 Holiday season. Infused with cacao nibs and aged for eight months in bourbon barrels, the beer is smooth and sweet, with notes of bourbon, oak, and dark chocolate.
The 2016 limited run, 22-oz. bottles will be available in select liquor stores beginning November 25. Black Belle will be offered on draft at select locations in Tennessee. This is the third year the collaboration beer has been created using Green Brier Distillery’s Belle Meade Bourbon® barrels.
“We are excited to offer Back Belle Imperial Stout for the third year,” said Kent Taylor, owner of Blackstone Brewing Company. “We put a crazy amount of effort into making this beer and it shows. With the help from our friends at Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery and their amazing Belle Meade Bourbon, this is hands down the best beer that we make!”
In July, Blackstone Brewing Company opened The Taphouse, a new taproom located inside the brewery at 2312 Clifton Avenue in Nashville. Sixteen draft selections are available Monday through Friday 4pm to 8pm, Saturday, 12pm to 8:00pm and Sunday, 12pm to 6:00pm. A limited menu of pub fare is also available.
