Our pal Tony Magee from Lagunitas tweeted out some clues yesterday for us to follow up on. Looks like Lagunitas will be buying the old Hilliard’s Brewery location in the Ballard section of Seattle. Hilliard’s was recently purchased by Odin Brewing who will resurrect some of the recipes and move some of the equipment out. Otherwise the brewery itself is pretty turnkey.
The new space will be named Lagunitas Taproom and Beer Sanctuary and it will be operated like a much smaller brewery than the comparable Petaluma, CA or Chicago, IL Lagunitas facilities. Stay tuned for more details.
