Outer Light Brewing Releases Ninja Trail Green Tea Pale Ale

imageFrom Outer Light:

Springtime is like the morning: rain showers reminiscent of dew drops, a slight chill slowly giving way to the warm sun, Nature waking up and beginning to bloom. Imagine sitting on a porch in cool of the morning, wrapped in a blanket, watching the sunrise over your garden with a cup of green tea in hand.

As we sat, relaxed, overlooking the vibrant Connecticut shoreline, we sought to capture that moment in a glass. Ninja Trail Green Tea Pale Ale was born.

The calming essence of green tea wafts upward from the glass. The soft straw-colored ale glides over your taste buds, and the carbonation tickles your tongue. A light tropical fruit taste gives way to lemon zest, the perfect complement to the herbal character of the brew. Behind it all sits our house English ale yeast, which softens any bitterness from the hops and adds its own fruity and floral flavors.

A clean and crisp beer, we think Ninja Trail is exactly what you’ve been searching for, to a “tea.”
