Each year the association holds an awards ceremony to recognize standout organizations throughout the state that have helped to develop the California tourism brand. Karl Strauss joins an impressive list of previous winners in the Brewery of the Year category that includes Firestone Walker (2015), Russian River (2014), and Sierra Nevada (2013).
