From Harpoon:
Our beloved spring seasonal, The Long Thaw White IPA, has completed its final thaw and is being retired. We realize this might be devastating news for some of you and trust us, it was not an easy decision. Like you, we have loved this beer for each of its three spring seasons. But in the spirit of spring renewal, we felt it was time to welcome a new beer next spring.
So what do you do when a good friend retires? You throw them a party, of course! Join us for a special Long Thaw Retirement Party at one of our breweries onMonday, March 28th. We’ll enjoy The Long Thaw, pretzels, “retirement games”, and hear from brewers and employees who have loved this delicious beer. Goodbyes are hard, but we’re looking forward to giving the Long Thaw a proper sendoff with you!

Our beloved spring seasonal, The Long Thaw White IPA, has completed its final thaw and is being retired. We realize this might be devastating news for some of you and trust us, it was not an easy decision. Like you, we have loved this beer for each of its three spring seasons. But even before it found its spot in our seasonal line-up, we enjoyed it as a 100 Barrel Series beer and then a limited release. It’s hard to see a good friend leave, but in the spirit of spring renewal, we felt it was time to welcome a new beer next spring.
So what do you do when a beer you love retires? You stock up like crazy! Head out and find some of The Long Thaw near you to say your final goodbyes. We’ll even help point you in the right direction…
