Here’s an interesting big bottle coming from Goose Island. This is a collaboration with brewing historian Ron Pattinson and together they have recreated 19th century English Stock Pale Ale. This beer uses floor malted English pale malt, English Golding and U.S. Cluster whole hops and it is aged in oak casks for 10 months with brettanomyces. Look for Brewery Yard Stock Pale Ale to be packaged in 765ml bottles and the beer hits 8%-AbV and 65 IBU.
