Wilmington, February 10, 2016: The Delaware Brewers Guild announced today that they hired Erik Raser-
Schramm as executive director.
“Erik brings a depth of experience in and out of Dover,” said John Klein, President of the Guild. “We feel this is a
tremendous step for the Guild, having more influence for our needs in Dover and to promote our industry within the
State.”
Raser- Schramm, founder of the Twelve Seven Group, became active in Delaware politics in 2002, taking on the role
of campaign manager for Senator Dave Sokola’s re-election campaign. From there he joined Governor Ruth Ann
Minner’s 2004 re-election campaign as campaign coordinator and in 2006 managed then State Treasurer Jack
Markell’s re-election campaign. In 2007, Erik was hired as chief of staff for the Minority Caucus in the Delaware
House of Representatives and in 2008 he became chief of staff for then Speaker of the House, Robert F. Gilligan. In
November of 2012 Erik formed the Twelve Seven Group LLC to provide a voice for issues facing Delawareans.
“I look forward to taking the Delaware Brewers Guild to the next level,” said Raser-Scrhramm. ”With a passion for the
industry and a deep understanding of Delaware and the political environment, I am excited to work with the executive
board and members of the Guild to promote and protect Delaware’s breweries.”
The Delaware Brewers Guild is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit organization that exists to unify the Delaware brewing
community. Founded in 2010, the organization currently represents 11 breweries in Delaware. The mission of the
Guild is to promote and protect interests of Delaware’s small breweries.
Delaware Brewers Guild Executive Board
President – John Klein
John has been a Brewing Supervisor with Dogfish for 3 years now. He started his brewing career in 2001 at Anheuser-Busch
Breweries in California and Colorado.
Secretary – Ryan Telle
Ryan has been with Fordham and Dominion brewing for 5 years. He is their VP of Marketing and Creative
Director.
Treasurer – Mark Edelson
Mark is a founding partner of Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant and serves as Director of Brewery Operations. Mark is
also a part of 2 other state guilds - PA and NJ and served on the Board of Directors of the Brewers Association
(Boulder, CO) for 10 years.
