imageWe brought you a peek at the new label, andnow the news of it’s return from Great Lakes:

It’s cold out there. Let us complement your slow cooker stews, fireside game nights, and cabin fever with returning seasonalConway’s Irish Ale. Brewed in honor of our co-owners’ beloved grandfather and policeman “Pa Conway”, our Irish Ale is smooth and full-bodied with toasty biscuit and caramel malt flavors.

Patrol for Conway’s Irish Ale in our distribution markets in 6-Packs, 12-Packs, and Draft beginning Monday, January 11. Prior to its wider release, we’ll tap Conway’s Irish Ale in our brewpub on Thursday, January 7 at 11:30AM, and bottles will go on sale at the GLBC gift shop on Friday, January 8 at 5PM.

Illustrator Darren Booth paid special tribute to the Conway brothers’ grandfather with some meaningful collage elements. Look closer at Pa Conway’s portrait to find clips of his actual Ireland-to-U.S.A. immigration papers, and a semaphore which he used to direct traffic in Ohio City—just down the street from our brewery!
