Left Coast BrewingReleasing Trestles IPA in Cans

From Left Coast:

Dec 16, 2015  Left Coast Brewing Co., Orange County’s largest craft brewery, announced the launch of its award-winning Trestles IPA in cans. This is the first canned beer from the family owned brewery, making it Orange County’s first brewery to launch a canned beer with full market distribution. The brewery plans to can 4,000 cases during their first year of canning.

“We chose to can Trestles because of its popularity in the local markets. Trestles has the most draft placements, so it seemed like the obvious choice when choosing which brew we’d can for the first time ever,” said Left Coast Brewer general manager Tommy Hadjis. “In the future, we plan to can Hop Juice, Del Mar St. and Una Mas.”

The Trestles IPA is available as a 12 oz. can in a six-pack and single wherever Left Coast beers are currently available including California, Arizona, Nevada, and more. Six-packs will be available for $9.99 in liquor stores and grocery stores and single cans will be available in bars and restaurants.

Trestles IPA has consistently won awards year after year, most notably it received the Gold Medal at the 2015 San Diego International Beer Competition, Best IPA in California in the 2015 New York International Beer Competition and the Bronze Medal in the 2015 Australia International Beer Competition. In the style of an American IPA it is brewed with a 2 row malt and imported light crystal malt that creates an opaque orange color and clean finish. CTZ and Chinook hops are followed up with a dry hop of Simcoe and Centennial in the fermenter that brings out a citrus aroma. Trestles IPA is light bodied, clean and pleasantly hoppy.
