Bear Republic Cafe Racer 15 Returns (Again) In Jan

From Bear Republic:

Café Racer 15™ is back already? Wasn’t it out just a few months ago? For those BRBC fans out there who routinely buy our products (thanks!), you might be asking yourselves these questions come January 1st when you see Café Racer 15™ again on the shelves of your favorite local bottle shop. Fear not, it isn’t old inventory; we’ve just decided to mix things up a bit. Here’s why:

Originally brewed in celebration of our 15th anniversary back in early 2011, Café Racer 15™ quickly became one of our favorite beers to brew. Probably because well, it’s also one of our favorite beers to drink! It quickly found a home in our quarterly Double IPA release schedule, but something wasn’t quite right. A DIPA that checks in at 9.75% released in July? It got us thinking. Maybe we should be brewing this massive beer in the beginning of the year, around our anniversary in late January, when the days are short and the weather is cool. The time of year when you need a beer high in ABV to help not only warm your spirits, but being the hop head you are, also quell your lupulin addiction.

It’s a no brainer right? So, we’re making it official. Café Racer 15™ will now become our winter release and the ever-evolving Apex IPA will shift to our summer release in July, a perfect fit since it’s lower in alcohol and has a leaner malt profile. A better fit for the season.  We’d consider that a win-win and we hope you do too!
