Two Roads Winter Seasonals are Taking the Road Less Shoveled

Winter in New England can be icy, snowy and very, very cold. But one thing that should warm your heart is the return of three winter seasonal beers by Two Roads Brewing Company. Route of All Evil Black Ale, Holiday Ale and 20 Ton Blonde Barleywine all make their way back to shelves and draft lines just in time for chillier temperatures.

The first beer is the mystifying Route of All Evil Black Ale. Not quite a porter, stout or black IPA, Brewmaster Phil Markowski created a beer with characteristics of all three. Hopped using Pacific Northwest varieties, chock full of dark roasted malts and with an ABV of 7.5%, this beer takes dark beer lovers down a road less shoveled!

Route of All Evil is now available in 12 oz. cans in addition to 12 oz. bottles. You can also find the cans in our winter Beer Bus variety pack riding along with cans of Ol’Factory Pils, Lil’ Heaven Session IPA and Honesypot Road IPA.

The second beer, Two Roads Holiday Ale, is inspired by the rare Biere de Noel style, a unique  offshoot of the better known Biere de Garde style. In its native country of France, this special style of beer is made by just a handful of small farmhouse breweries exclusively for the few weeks leading up to Christmas. The beer drinks remarkably light for its 7.3% ABV. Holiday Ale is available in festive 22 oz. bottles and makes a great gift for friends and family (or for yourself!)

Lastly, mid-November marks the return of Two Roads' hefty blonde barleywine--20 Ton. Aptly named for the 20 ton crane that adorns the 100-year-old former factory Two Roads calls home, 20 Ton exhibits Pacific Northwest hop flavor in addition to the subtle sweetness of an American-style blonde barleywine. Made with heirloom malts, 20 Ton is part of Two Roads' "Road Less Traveled" series of specialty brews. This beer is 12% and is available in 750mL cork and cage bottles.

All three of these brews are available wherever Two Roads beers are sold.
