Lakewood, NY - Southern Tier Brewing Co. announced today that Choklat will soon be available in 12oz. four-packs.

Choklat, a 10% ABV imperial stout, is brewed with luscious Belgian chocolate and is the company’s highest rated beer amidst a portfolio of beloved brews. Choklat belongs to Southern Tier’s high-gravity Blackwater Series, which is comprised of some of the company’s best-selling seasonal brands. According to Brand Manager, Nathan Arnone, “Our Blackwater beers are by far some of the most highly-rated beers in our broad portfolio. They’re seasonal favorites that our fans love and clamor for each time they’re released. Choklat is released in November and our fans love to enjoy it throughout the holiday season.”

The company has decided to expand its four-pack offerings following the successful autumn launch of crowd favorites, Pumking Imperial Pumpkin Ale and UnEarthly IPA in 12oz. four packs. VP of Sales and Marketing, Brendan Smith says, “For years, some of our most popular beers have been available only in 22oz. packages. We find that many of our fans and craft beer drinkers prefer to enjoy specialty brews in smaller packages. We’ll still offer 22oz. bomber bottles, but the addition of more accessible packages provides our market with the most flexible offerings.”

Choklat is accompanied in the Blackwater Series by Choklat Oranj, Crème Brûlée and Warlock, which have RateBeer scores of 98, 98 and 96 respectively. Choklat Oranj is an imperial stout brewed with chocolate and orange peels. Crème Brûlée is an imperial stout brewed with vanilla beans. Warlock is an imperial stout brewed with pumpkins.
