Sample New Pilot System Double IPA at Summit Beer Hall 11/20

imageFrom Summit:

Our head brewer Damian McConn has been experimenting with some new hops on the Summit Pilot System. Recently he brewed a small batch of an American Double IPA that you can sample at the Summit Beer Hall this Friday!

Damo says this beer is very different from our Unchained 18: Hop Silo Double IPA. The Pilot System DIPA is lighter on the malt character and WAY more hop forward highlighting a blend of new and experimental varieties from the United States and New Zealand.

The result – a highly drinkable (but watch out, it’s 8.5% ABV!) dark gold and slightly hazy beer with big notes of peach, mango, bubble gum, and grapefruit with some hints of pine and pineapple.

This beer will be available for one day only Friday, November 20 for $2 7oz samples at Summit Beer Hall.
