The decision to brew an IPL was based on the popularity of the IPA (India Pale Ale) style & the success of Yuengling’s flagship offerings, Traditional Lager. Yuengling® IPL is the perfect combination of what consumers desire and what the brewery does best.
"IPL is 60 IBUs which is double that of Lord Chesterfield Ale," states John Callahan, PA Brewing Manager. "We also took a lot of time trying over 12 different hop varieties prior to selecting Belma, Bravo, Cascade & Citra hops for this new brew."
This new IPL will be rounding out our calendar of seasonal offerings with its release scheduled after annual favorite Yuengling® Oktoberfest and Yuengling® Summer Wheat, now in its second year.
Yuengling® IPL will be available in six pack cases, 12 packs, ¼ and ½ Barrels.
