BridgePort Brewing Company’s STUMPTOWN Tart is back for the second time in 2015 and she’s loaded with berries that have a local history. This Belgian Style Ale is brewed with marionberries from Marion County, Oregon giving the brew its signature fruit tartness with a touch of sweetness.

“STUMPTOWN Tart is an iconic beer for us at BridgePort Brewing and we all love it,” says Brewmaster Jeff Edgerton. “We came across Willamette Valley marionberries from Stahlbush Farms in Corvallis, Ore. and the selection was too good not to use in our beloved Tart. For this brew, we used a Belgian Wit yeast and Czech Saaz hops giving the beer a slight bitterness and pleasant fruity base that melds perfectly with the berry flavor.”

We’re thrilled to offer STUMPTOWN Tart for the second time this year! Loaded with local history, STUMPTOWN Tart features Willamette Valley Marionberries from Stahlbush Farms in Corvallis, Ore. The Marionberry, an indigenous blackberry developed at Oregon State University, is the perfect berry to feature in our STUMPTOWN brew. In addition, we used Belgian Wit yeast and Czach Saaz hops giving the beer a slight bitterness and pleasant fruity base that melds well with the local berry flavor.

STUMPTOWN Tart Marionberry appears dark pink in color with ABV at 7.7%, OG at 17.3, and IBUS at 15. Look for STUMPTOWN Tart Marionberry on limited tap and 22oz. bottles where BridgePort is sold. Grab yours while it’s available!
