$9.3 Million Dollar Expansion Marks the Next Era of Growth for the Kitchener-Waterloo Brewer

KITCHENER, ON August 14, 2015 - Waterloo Brewing Co., the craft brewing division of Brick Brewing Co. Limited ("Brick" or the "Company") (TSX: BRB), Ontario's largest Canadian-owned brewery, yesterday unveiled their new environmentally friendly state-of-the-art brewhouse. President and CEO George Croft, Board Member Stan Dunford, Waterloo Mayor Dave Jaworsky and Kitchener Mayor Berry Vrbanovic were all in attendance for the ribbon cutting ceremony. Event attendees toured the fully operational facility and had the opportunity to sample Waterloo Brewing Co. products, including their soon-to-be-released limited time seasonal small-batch brew "Waterloo Smoked Applewood Roggenbier."

"Kitchener-Waterloo is the beer-loving heart of Canada and we have been calling this region our home for over 30 years," said President and CEO George Croft. "We named our craft beer division Waterloo Brewing Co. because we are proud members of the community and this new facility represents our commitment to sustainable growth and production in the region."

The new facility, which will be used to brew all of the Waterloo Brewing Co. products as well as seasonal small-batch brews, was designed to include the latest in Bavarian brewing technology and equipment. This technology is designed to ensure sustainability in the brewing process through improved material utilization, lower energy consumption and reduced waste and wastewater discharges.

"We are dedicated to operating our brewery responsibly and efficiently, with as little environmental impact as possible," explained Brick Brewing Chief Operating Officer Russell Tabata. "This new state-of-the art brewhouse has allowed us to make great strides in the reduction of the overall carbon footprint of our operation."

The new Waterloo Brewing Co. brewhouse and retail store, located at 400 Bingemans Centre Drive, are now fully operational. The new small-batch brewed Waterloo Smoked Applewood Roggenbier will be available this September for a limited time at select LCBO and Beer Store locations across Ontario.
