Sierra Nevada - Hopstillation IPA Coming To 12oz Bottles

image
Here’s your very first look at a new bottle coming from Sierra Nevada.  This beer is called Hopstillation IPA and it is described as a “big American IPA--perfectly balanced yet full of flavor and aromas…”  The beer hits 6.2%-AbV and this is a 12oz bottle.  Based on the name, I’d say this beer uses field-distilled hops like Hop Hunter and since the AbV matches Hop Hunter IPA, we may be looking at a new name for Hop Hunter?  It’s also curious that the backing label uses a description that matches Torpedo Ale and the neck label not only uses that same description, but it actually says “Torpedo Ale” in the description.  Based on that alone, I suspect we’ll see another update on this label coming soon.  In any case stay tuned to see if this is a new beer, a rename of a place holder.
