Redd’s Announces The Release of Redd’s Wicked Black Cherry

imageWe bought you news of this beer back in April, and now the full details from Redd’s:

The Redd’s family of beers announces  the nationwide debut of Redd’s Wicked Black Cherry.

Following rave reviews to the spring release of Redd’s Wicked Mango, Redd’s Wicked Black Cherry is a dark-golden beer with juicy black cherry flavors balanced by a crisp apple base. At eight percent alcohol by volume, the newest addition to the Redd’s Wicked family delivers a smooth, moderate body and light carbonation, with a refreshingly hard and satisfying finish.

“Earlier this year, Redd’s Wicked offered drinkers a bold new flavor, and the response has been awesome,” said David Kroll, MillerCoors chief marketing officer. “The introduction of Redd’s Wicked Black Cherry reinforces our commitment to offer more new, refreshingly hard drink alternatives.”

Marketing support for Redd’s Wicked Black Cherry will include print advertising, television and a continued partnership with cultural collective group, AFROPUNK, to curate a four-city series of experiences that merge the multi-dimensional worlds of urban alternative music, art, food and technology. With three markets already complete, fans at the fourth and final event in Los Angeles will have the opportunity to try Redd’s Wicked Black Cherry and enjoy the city’s top musicians, artists, designers and tastemakers during an epic celebration of culture.

Redd’s Wicked Black Cherry is available in 24- and 16-ounce single cans, as well as in 12-packs of 10-ounce cans.
