From New Belgium:
Behind every New Belgium beer you purchase — a six pack of Snapshot from your local store, a pint of Rampant at your neighborhood hang out, or a bomber of La Folie at the beer bar — is an NBB Ranger. They spend their days checking in on beer stores and bars, educating businesses on New Belgium beers and making sure our liquid and its handlers are up to snuff.
In the nation’s capital you’ll find Grant Smith pedaling from bar to bar, chatting with owners, employees and patrons alike. But it’s not all about selling our beer. It’s about making true and lasting relationships — even if that means turning someone on to a brew that isn’t even made by New Belgium (good beer is good beer, after all).
Sharing what excites us has always been an important part of our culture, and it’s why we created the Tour de Fat 15 years ago. A celebration of bikes, beers and ballyhoo, it’s a travelling circus of live music, interactive sculpture and New Belgium cultural values. And, to cap it off, proceeds from each show benefit local cycling-related nonprofits.
