On Sunday, August 9, The Biergarten at Anheuser-Busch brewery invited the St. Louis community to raise their glasses in support of the Ferguson Brewing Company. Guests participated in a fundraiser for Ferguson Brewing Company employees, who have been out of work due to a recent fire at their facility.

Thanks to the support of the community, the event raised over $3,000, which will go directly to the Ferguson Brewery Company employee trust fund that was created to support Ferguson Brewery Company employees until the brewery gets back up and running.

“We thank the St. Louis community for coming out and sharing their generosity this past weekend to help raise funds for the employees of Ferguson Brewing Company employees,” said Robb Jeffrey, Marketing Coordinator at Anheuser-Busch. “In the St. Louis brewery community, we’re family and we are proud to support those in need.”

Upon arrival, Ferguson Brewing Company employees collected donations in exchange for beer tokens. Throughout the event, the employees served three Ferguson Brewing Company beers including Pecan Nut Brown, St. Louis Pale Ale and Hefeweizen and guests had the opportunity to participate in a raffle, play various Biergarten games and purchase merchandise. Anheuser-Busch products were also available for purchase (see below).

Those interested in supporting the Ferguson Brewing Company can visit the brewery’s GoFundMe page sponsored by the St. Louis Brewers Guild for more information.
