From Center Of The Universe:
Ashland, Virginia, June 2nd: For the third straight year, Center of the Universe Brewing Company will be hosting the Summer Moon Music Festival to celebrate the day that man walked on the moon 45 years ago.
The 3rd annual Summer Moon Music Festival takes place July 18th and 19th. This two day festival features 13 local bands who will be battling it out for their charity of choice. To accompany the bands, there will be several food trucks on site along with Anderson Neck Oyster Company hand shucking and selling fresh locally raised oysters. Three different draft beer stations will be set up and James River Cellars* will be on hand selling their delicious lineup Virginia wines. Bring the whole family out to enjoy a day dedicated to local music, food, beer, wine, and of course charities. This event is free to attend. Well-behaved children and dogs on leashes are welcome to attend the festivities. There will be over 4,500 square feet of covered tent space with tables and chairs to allow the music and fun to continue in the event of inclement weather.
Also on hand will be the Virginia Lottery! Come join them as their Summer Jam (vasummerjam.com) continues at The Summer Moon Music Festival. Visit their tent where there will be mobile karaoke, record toss, prizes, and more! Head on out and say hi to the Game Guy!
