Atwater Brewery To Add Craft Spirits Beginning 6/18

Atwater Brewery announced Monday that starting June 18 they are "getting into the spirit of craft spirits."

The Detroit-based brewer's brand of whiskey, rum, vodka and gin will be served at their biergarten and tap house, Atwater in the Park, in Grosse Pointe Park, for their one-year anniversary celebration.

According to a release, Atwater plans to get the spirits into their Detroit taproom, too.

"We are very excited to introduce a whiskey as the first in our line of handcrafted spirits," said Mark Rieth, Atwater Brewery president said in a release. "For us, it has always been about making fantastic high quality liquids, this keeps things fresh for us and has everyone excited."
