Flat12's Hinchtown Hammerdown Gets a New Look: Now Distributing to Canada

At Flat12, the month of May is all about racing. In honor of the 2015 racing season, Flat12 Bierwerks and James Hinchcliffe’s collaboration beer, Hinchtown Hammerdown, has a new look and even better taste. Just like a race car gets a new livery, Hinchtown Hammerdown is getting a new vessel for transportation, and this time it's crossing borders!

Combining elements of Indianapolis’ rich racing heritage, the beer has re-emerged with a new design that reflects Flat12’s support of the racing community and James himself, the mayor of Hinchtown. It’s the same great beer, but now even more crisp and refreshing due to a twist in the making - Hammerdown is now lagered and cold fermented, a pilsner-style beer. It’s smooth, drinkable, and goes down fast - the perfect brew for a day at the track. The new Hammerdown cans are hitting shelves around Indy, the IMS, and are available in the Indianapolis taproom now.

Flat12 is excited to announce that Hinchtown Hammerdown is shipping across the border to James’ hometown of Toronto, making them one of the few breweries in Indiana to distribute internationally. Now Canadian race fans can cheer on their hometown hero while enjoying James’ brew.

"I couldn't be more excited to share the new Hinchtown Hammerdown. From Indianapolis to Toronto and beyond, we have a lot of racing left and I hope everyone has a chance to enjoy the season with some Hammerdown." - James Hinchcliffe
