Finch's Beer is happy to announce two new appointments to its management team. Rob Poulsen has been named Chief Financial Officer and Ken Limas as Chief Marketing and Sales Officer.

Poulsen comes to Finch's from MillerCoors, where he served as Director of Mergers and Acquisitions. In that role, he led the market assessment, financial modeling, due diligence, negotiation and closing of the Crispin Cider Company. Additionally, Poulsen negotiated and closed on a minority ownership position in Terrapin Beer Company of Athens, Ga., giving MillerCoors an entrance into a fast growing region in the craft beer segment. Poulsen has extensive knowledge of the craft beer segment having worked closely with the Tenth and Blake division of MillerCoors on various strategic initiatives.

Poulsen will be working with founder Ben Finch and other key staff to help grow and guide Finch’s as it nears a phase two facility in Chicago, and looks to position itself as an international pint can brand.

Limas joins Finch’s from Beer Capitol Distributing, serving as Global Craft and Import Brands Manager. Previously, Limas has held key Sales management positions at Bell’s and Rogue Brewery’s.

“Their combined talents bring nearly 30 years of leadership to the table for Finch's and will help us grow as a company over the next 12- 24 months,” Finch said. “I have known both of them since we started our business over three years ago and couldn't be more excited to bring on two guys who are as much my team members as they are my advisors and friends.”

Both Limas and Poulsen will have an equity stake in the company, as does Mike Finch, who has been promoted into the role of national sales manager.

“With the help of the entire team at Finch's, my brother and I have witnessed incredible growth over the past three years,” Mike Finch said. “We’re excited to work with Rob and Ken as they commit their expertise and mentorship to the family business.”

Other notable changes include the promotions of Tim Coe into the Chief Operations and Human Resources Director position and Steven Slater, who was promoted into the Head Brewer role at the end of 2014. Slater has been a member of the Finch's team since the original five employees started at the company in 2011.

Limas and Poulsen will officially assume these positions this spring.
