Anchor Liberty Ale Turns 40 On April 18th (Video)

Happy 40th birthday to Anchor Brewing Liberty Ale.  Be sure to raise a glass on April 18th to the first post-prohibition modern American IPA, and a beer that is credited as the beer that launched the craft beer revolution.  This beer was first brewed in 1975 by Fritz Maytag to commemorate the bicentennial of Paul Revere’s ride and it remains a mainstay in Anchor Brewing’s portfolio even 40 years later.  Happy Anniversary Liberty Ale.
