Short’s ControversiALE - A Beer We Can All Agree On

imageFrom Short’s:

At Short’s, we deal with some pretty controversial topics – is the White Pepper really the world’s best sandwich? What beers will be in our next seasonal variety pack? Is it ever too cold for a quick water ski? But, despite our varied opinions, we can say definitively that there are certain topics of which we all agree. Chief among them, how much we crave our Spring Seasonal, ControversiALE!

ControversiALE
(6.5% ABV – 65 IBU) is our tribute to Simcoe hops. Simcoe hops are extremely sought after and limited, so Short’s is excited to share this brew with Michigan craft beer lovers every spring. The earthy, citrus and pine-laced aroma is instantly delectable. A large amount of toasted grains and high alpha hops form a perfect union that creates the sensation of toasted sourdough covered with grapefruit hop marmalade. While this beer is hopped like IPA, it drinks like Pale Ale. The light, refreshing qualities of this beer make it perfect for springtime.

Available on store shelves now and throughout spring, be sure to pick up your six pack of a beer we all know and love, ControversiALE.
