Noble Order Brewing, of Richmond, Indiana, today announced plans to expand their product offering to cans. Canning will begin with 4-packs of Furst Blood Orange Wheat that will be available throughout the state beginning in April. Katapult Kolsch and Tobias Apricot IPA will follow suit and to hit Hoosier shelves by mid-spring.
“The can business is exploding and will only gain momentum with summer right around the corner, said Mike Miller, partial owner of Noble Order. “We are catering to Hoosier craft beer drinkers who attend big events like the Indianapolis 500 with a cooler of cold ones or just grill out in their backyard with a good can of beer.”
Earlier this year, Noble Order launched a rebranding and signed a distribution agreement with Monarch Beverage to expand their reach throughout the state. Of their three beers in distribution, Furst Blood Orange Wheat is by far the most popular.
“Kicking off our canning with Furst Blood Orange was a no-brainer,” said Miller. “It’s a unique product that uses fresh blood oranges in the brewing process. Consumers really just love the flavor.”
Canning will be done by Indiana Mobile Canning, sister company of Michigan Mobile Canning. The company specializes in canning lines for breweries throughout the state – allowing smaller production brewers the luxury of canning without making a significant initial investment in the technology.
“We are very excited to partner with Indiana Mobile Canning for our first ever canned product, said Miller. “Mobile canning technology has come a long way and produces a killer, high-quality product.”
