From Hangar 24:
Hangar 24 Craft Brewery will release a brand-new beer this Saturday at a just-announced surprise launch celebration. Rain Delay is the brewery's answer to those days when you want a darker beer to enjoy a couple of while you listen to the rain, or to pair with a cool summer evening on the porch- while remaining light enough to enjoy on even the hottest days that Southern California might throw your way.
An American Stout, Rain Delay balances a full body, fulfilling roasted malt character, and firm hop bitterness with a moderate 5% ABV and 47 IBUs to keep it in that sweet-spot of everyday drink-ability.
It'll hit the taps in the Hangar 24 Tasting Room this Saturday when they open at 11am, and the brewery will host San Diego gypsy/folk rockers Quel Bordel (who were, appropriately, rain delayed from Wednesday) live from 3-6pm in the afternoon, and local favorite Sam Marsey from 8-10pm. The celebration will continue until midnight.
Hangar 24 Craft Brewery has produced a full batch of the beer, and expects it to remain on tap in the Brewery Tasting Room through the month of April.
