Today you get your very first look at the 28th release in he Avery Brewing Barrel-Aged Series. You’ll see it on other blogs later today, but you saw it here first. This is Fortuna and it is a sour ale that is aged in Tequila barrels with lime zest and salt. Look for Fortuna to be package din a limited run of 1197 cases of 12oz bottles and the beer will bit an evil 6.6%-AbV. As a bonus we also have the keg label for Avery Bourbon Barrel Reverend. This beer takes Avery Reverend Belgian-style quadrupel to a new level by aging it in Bourbon barrels. Stay tuned for more info.
