Dogfish Head Choc Lobster Returns With a Special Release of Signed Growlers 2/22

imageFrom Dogfish Head:

At noon this Sunday, Feb. 22, Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats in Rehoboth Beach is offering 75 half-growlers of Choc Lobster signed and numbered by founder Sam Calagione.

Never before available in growlers, Choc Lobster is a porter brewed with live Maine lobsters, cocoa powder and fresh basil. The robust dark ale has notes of chocolate, a slight herbal nuance and a subdued taste of the ocean in the finish.

Growler fills of Choc Lobster will only be available to the 75 people who buy a signed and numbered half-growler at the brewpub kiosk. The growler and fill are $20 (sorry, no discounts) and are limited to one per person. Inside, 10-oz. pours of Choc Lobster will be available from noon until it’s gone.

The new 32-oz. growlers allow our draft beers to be consumed as fresh as possible, and we’ll offer some of our higher-gravity beers, including 120 Minute IPA and other occasional rarities, in the smaller growlers. However, due to limited availability, we won’t often offer growler fills of Brewpub Exclusives. You still gotta drink those at the source!

Hope to see you on Sunday … cheers!
