We brought you news of this beer back in Nov, and now some updates from Anchor Brewing:
America’s first craft brewery is proud to introduce a limited edition of uniquely Anchor brews, the Anchor Argonaut Collection. This year, there will be three beers released throughout the year; each in their own individually designed 4-packs, as well as on draught.
The first of the collection is Flying Cloud San Francisco Stout. The stouts savored in Gold Rush San Francisco were no ordinary ales. They were export stouts—dark, intense, high-gravity brews. Ours is a Dublin-style brew made with English Maris Otter pale malt, two black malts, and flaked barley. Nugget and Golding hops provide a spicy, floral complement to the deep, dark-chocolaty maltiness and dry finish.
Expect to find the Anchor Argonaut Collection at the same retail establishments you currently find Anchor beers.
SPRING SEASONAL OUT NOW
Last year, we released a brand new spring seasonal, Anchor Saison. Brewed to the traditional Saison style, but with our own spin on it using California inspired ingredients such as lemongrass, ginger and lemon peel. The thing about last year is that it was only available in California. That's why we're so excited to share this *new* seasonal with everyone across the country. Find it near you.

IPA. ANCHORED & CANNED
There's no denying the abundance of craft brewery offerings now available in a convenient, pack anywhere can. Having the ability to pack your cans into spaces otherwise too heavy or not environmentally responsible hindered the opportunity to enjoy your favorite brew after a hike, in a park, bike ride, anywhere. Plus, that elephant silhouette on a can is classic!
