PORTLAND, OR – Ecliptic Brewing, a craft brewery and restaurant in Portland’s Mississippi neighborhood, has released its Oort Imperial Stout and Phobos Single Hop Red Ale in bottles.

“The Oort Imperial Stout and Phobos Single Hop Red Ale have rotated through the taps of Ecliptic, and we’re glad to now share these two beers at retail locations throughout the region,” said owner and head brewmaster John Harris.

About Oort Imperial Stout

Within Ecliptic’s new line of specialty beers, which are released every two months, Oort is named after the mysterious region of our solar system that breeds comets. Massive amounts of roasted barley and chocolate malts were combined with three types of caramel malts for a rich, full mouthfeel. Chinook, Cascade and Sterling hops lend a balanced bitterness and subtle hop flavor to this brew that’s as black as the vacuum of space. For high-res image, visit here.

Part of Ecliptic’s seasonal line-up, Phobos is named after the Martian moon that circles the red planet. Eight malts were used to give this beer a rich, red color and deep caramel flavor. Hopped to balance with the citrusy Azacca hops, Phobos finishes creamy and smooth. For high-res image, visit here.
