From Troegs:
Get ready to squeeze those hops for all they’re worth! Now that 2015 has arrived, one thing seems to be on everyone’s mind: Nugget Nectar. We’re gearing up to release our Imperial Amber Ale beginning on Monday, January 12. Look for cases and six-packs of 12-ounce bottles, 1/2- and 1/6-kegs, and 4-packs of brand new 16-ounce cans to appear in retailers first throughout Central Pennsylvania, followed by regional release dates across our entire distribution footprint throughout January and February. With this year’s release in 16-ounce pounders, Nugget Nectar joins Troegenator, Perpetual IPA and Sunshine Pils in the family of Tröegs beers packaged in cans. Nugget Nectar will deliver hopheads to nirvana with a heady collection of American hops. Drenched with a healthy dose of the freshest hops we’re able to source, Nugget Nectar is further intensified with additional whole flower Nugget hops added to our hopback vessel, resulting in an explosion of citrus, resin and pine.
Our Hop Cycle series returns in 2015 with the arrival of our spring seasonal release, Cultivator Helles Bock. Emerging from springtime’s fertile ground, Cultivator celebrates the start of hop-growing season as sprawling fields of hop rhizomes climb and tether to hop bines. This spring bock delivers hints of toasted grains, fresh baked bread and delicate floral hops. In addition to cases and 6-packs of 12-ounce bottles and 1/6- and 1/2-kegs, we’re excited to introduce 12-packs of 12-ounce cans for 2015! And the change of the seasons also means the return of our Anthology Spring variety package. Featuring a sublime collection of your favorite Tröegs brews, Anthology Spring includes HopBack Amber, Tröegs Pale Ale, DreamWeaver Wheat and, of course, Cultivator Helles Bock. We will begin shipment to wholesalers throughout our entire distribution footprint during the first week of February, so you can expect to see both Cultivator and Anthology Spring in stores by the week of February 10.
Jovial, our second year-round release packaged in 375mL cork and cage bottles, enters our distribution footprint for the first time since we revealed it as a brewery-only release a few months ago. Brimming with optimism, this enticing Belgian-style Dubbel Ale reveals its enduring charm and infinite merriment with each passing sip. Fermented with Westmalle yeast to contribute hints of dark fruit, the flavor develops to add traces of toffee, chocolate, and subtle spices. The bottle conditioning process naturally carbonates the beer right inside the bottle, which produces a lively effervescence once the cork is popped. At present time, Jovial is available in 4-packs and cases at select retailers throughout PA and OH only. However, you can expect to see Jovial start popping up throughout all our other markets by the second week in January.
