ASTORIA, OR – Buoy Beer Company announces that a new partnership has been created with Maletis Beverage to distribute their lineup of beer to the greater Portland, Salem and Southwest Washington regions.
“We have had a busy and exciting year here in Astoria,” said Buoy Beer co-founder David Kroening, “We’ve been focusing on producing solid, balanced beers that we like to drink and it’s exciting to see that a lot of people are enjoying our beer with us – and all the credit goes to our brew team for that. Maletis does great work with a fantastic reputation and we’re excited to partner with them to get our beer out more efficiently to a larger area in the coming months.”
“This partnership with Maletis is very exciting because it will allow us to expand from the coast and get our beers into the beer mecca that is Portland. Maletis has great relationships with retailers and we look forward to working with them to bring our beers to the thirsty consumers in the northwest,” said Buoy Beer Co. Head Brewer Kevin Shaw, a 20+ year veteran of northwest brewing.
Buoy Beer Company brews on a 20-BBL Metalcraft Fabrication (Portland, OR) brew house for its main-line of European Style Lagers and NW Ales. It also brews on a Portland Kettle Works (Portland, OR) 3-BBL pilot system for specialty beers served in its taproom and restaurant.
“Buoy’s award winning beer continues the tradition of recognizing great brewers from Oregon’s beautiful North Coast. Buoy’s waterfront location in Astoria, where the Pacific Ocean meets the Columbia River, is one of our country’s greatest natural wonders and our sales team will help bring a bit of that experience to thousands of retailers in Oregon and SW Washington. We are thrilled to be partnering with the team at Buoy Beer Company and look forward to expanding the availability of their beers to craft enthusiasts in the Pacific Northwest,” noted Rob Maletis, Owner of Maletis Beverage.
