ASHEVILLE, NC—December 30, 2014New Belgium Brewing will kick off their Asheville hiring phase at Asheville’s 9th Annual Homecoming Job Fair on January 7, 2015. The company will hire about 50 full-time positions with benefits for their Asheville location throughout 2015, and at full build out their east coast digs will be home to approximately 140 full time coworkers. Additional sales positions will be hired in cities along the eastern seaboard as they expand.

“This is a huge building block for us and amazingly humbling to bring more coworkers into our New Belgium family,” said Annie Korenjak, Asheville Human Resources Manager. “We’re grateful to be in the room with nearly 100 Western North Carolina employers at the job fair, and honored to have the opportunity to talk with some potential future coworkers.”

There will be a variety of full-time positions in Asheville, the majority being in production, production support, logistics, and tasting room and tour experience. In addition to a family-friendly benefit package with paid time off, at one year of employment coworkers receive ownership in the company.

“Since our future coworkers will also be future co-owners, we take this part of our east coast expansion very seriously,” said Jay Richardson, New Belgium Asheville General Manager. “We’ve been thinking about and planning the development of our team in Asheville for over three years, so it’s particularly exciting to reach this milestone.”
