Two Roads Releases Holiday Biere de Noel & Route Of All Evil Black Ale

Winter in New England can be harsh, cruel and very, very cold. But one thing about winter should warm your heart- the return of two seasonal beers by Two Roads Brewing Company: Route of All Evil Black Ale and Holiday Biere de Noel.

Route of All Evil returns with a new icy label color but inside- it’s as black as black ice.

Not quite a porter, stout or black IPA- Brewmaster Phil Markowski wanted to play with using all three to create a unique beer that’s truly on the Route of All Evil. Hopped using Pacific Northwest hops and chock full of dark roasted malts- the result is truly taking a road less shoveled. The ABV is 7.5% and comes in six packs.

Two Roads Holiday Ale is inspired by the little-known Biere de Noel style, an offshoot of the more widely-known Biere de Garde style.  In its native France this special beer style is made by just a handful of small farmhouse breweries exclusively for the few weeks leading up to Christmas, and it tends to exhibit a more malty profile than a typical Biere de Garde. The beer drinks remarkably light for its 7.3% ABV. This comes in 22 oz bottles and makes a great gift for loved ones or for yourself.

Holiday Ale will be on tap in the Two Roads tasting room starting on Wednesday November 5th for growlers, pints, and tasters while you can enjoy Route of All Evil now at the brewery.
