REDMOND, Wash., It has become quite the custom for breweries across the land to release their Pumpkin Ales in early October. These amazing spiced ales range from very strong ales for the beer aficionado to light session beers for the common palate. What does Bushnell Craft Brewing Company in Redmond, WA believe, “It is never too late to release the ‘right’ pumpkin spiced ale.”
When asked why the late season release, Kempton Bushnell, company founder, director of enthusiasm, vice president of sales and marketing, lead cook, head bartender, chief waiter and recently demoted to assistant brewmaster said, “we just hired a new brewmaster and we wanted him to develop his first great beer on our equipment and we didn’t care how long it took as long as it was awesome. He nailed it!”
America is experiencing a beer explosion and people across the land are trying new beers and pressing their taste buds to new levels. Brewing great beer is 75% chemistry, 30% recipe building and 30% passion, there is also a lot of math involved but we focus on the creative side of things and with the addition of Jamie Richard our new Brewmaster, we just create great beer.
Bushnell Craft is introducing its first seasonal brew, aptly named Hot Walker – Pumpkin Spiced Ale, as well as introducing the new scientist/cook/mathematician/brewmaster that created it, Jamie Richard, Bushnell Craft Brewmaster, in two separate events. First there will be a private release party for Bushnell Craft 144 Members on November 15th from 1:00pm to 5:00pm and then will be released to the public on November 22nd at 3:00pm. Jamie Richard will be on hand to meet and greet his new fans and explain why this is the ‘right’ pumpkin spiced ale at both events.
