Brewery Vivant Tart Side Of The Moon Cans Return 11/18

From Brewery Vivant:

Originally brewed in 2012 as a one-off creation, Tart Side of the Moon quickly became one of our most sought-after offerings. This hearty dark farmhouse ale is fermented with our rustic Belgian yeast strain which gives the beer a farmhouse tartness followed by big dark chocolate notes, and hints of black cherries. Fermentation temperatures often climb past 90°F which builds the distinctive flavors. No adjuncts are added to this beer– these robust layers of flavor are yeast driven. Listen to that lunatic in your head, dust off that vinyl, pour the beer into a glass and sip your way into a happy, chilled out groove.

To prepare for the launch, head to your local grocer for: the English Stilton cheese or another blue variety, a choice cut of steak to char on the grill, or all the ingredients to bake your favorite type of chocolate cake. We’ll be pouring draft at the Pub and selling cans starting Tuesday November 18. This beer is a limited specialty offering and will be distributed throughout our distribution footprint: Michigan, Chicagoland and the newly opened Indiana market. Cheers!
