From Half Acre:
The portly friend is back - and this year he's tugged and squeezed his chunk into production just in time for our favorite night of the year. Throbbing chocolate, sateen mouth feel and nobility, curve their way through your darkest parts - the perfect primer for mischief and sweet treats.
Here at Half Acre, we love Halloween.
Like a naive preschooler, the spirit of Halloween encourages us to pursue our dreams. Notions of practicality and feasibility are discarded in favor of delusional aspirations and dreams gone wild. Stripping down pretension and expectation to reveal unexpected alter egos we can readily celebrate. This is the time to be exactly who you want to be and Half Acre Beer Company wants to set fire to your creative kindling. Here's how:
- First, there will be an on-going pumpkin carving contest. Hollow out a gourd and inflict your message. We will display them in the shop until Halloween. To encourage your creativity we will be offering 15% off your purchase along with a free 4 pack or bomber, in exchange for your hollowed out expression of self.
- Second, there will be an on-going costume contest. Don your best alternative identity when you come to the shop, we'll grab your contact information and, if you are the best of the best, you'll hear from us at the end of the month about a prize.
- Third, there will be a special Halloween brewery tour the Saturday BEFORE Halloween at 11 AM (10/25). Get your gnarliest costume together and join us as we consummate this wonderful season of individuality through the consumption of special edition beers and chunky beats. You will only be allowed access to this event if you are wearing a costume, and if you are wearing our favorite costume, we'll send you home with something smashing.
It is our hope that you will participate with all the fervor of your youth.
