Green Flash Set To Break Ground In Virginia Beach

San Diego-based Green Flash Brewing Co., which announced last year that it plans to build its first East Coast brewing facility in Virginia Beach, plans to break ground for the project Monday. 

The private event will be preceded the day before by a fundraiser featuring Green Flash beers for the Tidewater affiliate of the Susan G. Komen breast-cancer research charity. 

That event, the Treasure Chest Fest, will be held from noon to 5 p.m. at Green Flash's future location, 1902 General Booth Blvd. Ticket prices and other information are available at tinyurl.com/ko75aow.
