Books & Brews - It Was a Dark & Stormy Stout, King Lear’s Fool, The Merchant of V&T, Sir Walter Scotch Ale, Peter Rabbit’s Hoppy Wheat & Clifford The Big Red Ale

imageToday we have several new brews coming from Books & Brews brewpub and used bookstore in Indianapolis, IN.  It was a dark & storm stout (an ode to Edward Bulwer-Lytton) is an Imperial Stout and today we get to see the regular version (9% ABV-90 IBU) and the smoked version (9.7% ABV-90 IBU).  King Lear’s Fool is a Belgian-style golden ale with lemon peel (11% ABV-32 IBU), the Merchant of V&T is a dark Belgian-style ale brewed with apricots (8.8% ABV, 32 IBU), Sir Walter Scotch is a Scotch-style ale (88% ABV, 32 IBU), Peter Rabbit’s Hoppy Wheat (5.5% ABV, 40 IBU) & Clifford The Big Red Ale (7.4% ABV, 13 IBU).  These are all 22oz bottles.
