Since GMOs have been a growing topic of discussion within the food and beverage industry, we thought now would be the perfect time to address any questions about our beers and the ingredients we use. Rest assured everyone at our brewery and our fans can raise a glass and know that each and every ingredient is of the highest quality and 100 percent free of GMOs!
Here’s the skinny on the ingredients we use:
- Malt (barley): No barley grown in the U.S. or Europe contains GMOs.
- Hops: By their very nature are not GMOs.
- Water: As pure as pure can be – our water flows directly from Oregon’s McKenzie River to our brewery!
- Yeast: We propagate all of our yeast in-house in our lab. No GMOs here!
How do we know these facts are true? We asked! We work hard with our suppliers to ensure that our ingredients stand up to the quality that you expect from our beers. When it comes to GMOs and craft beer in general, you can be almost certain that the beer in your pint is free of GMOs – and that, as an industry, is something we can all proudly cheers to!
