Center Of The Universe Hosts First Ever Triple Crown Smoke Out

imageFrom COTU:

Ashland, Virginia, June 4th: Two down, one to go. Head to Center of the Universe Brewing Company June 7th for the final race of California Chrome’s quest to become the next great Triple Crown winner! There will be fresh on site BBQ available and Cigar Realm will be here to get you set up with a fine stogie to pair perfectly with our brews. Colonial Downs and the EZ Horseplay trailer will once again be set up in the biergarten to satisfy your wagering needs. TV’s inside and out to keep you updated on the happenings at Belmont. In honor of this possible historic occasion, COTU will be opening at 1pm so that you can partake in all of the races leading up to the main event. There will be live music to keep you grooving in-between post times as well as corn hole boards to keep you moving. If you missed out on the Kentucky Derby party, don’t worry, you can have your redemption!

In honor of the Belmont Breeze, the official beer of this final race, COTU has crafted a light and refreshing brew using their Slingshot and infusing the kegs with fresh pomegranate and lemonade. They dubbed this creation the Chromed-out Kölsch in honor of their new favorite horse, California Chrome.

Bring your friends, bring your neighbors, and wear your good time shoes as this party will be one for the books!
