From Yuengling:

Yuengling is pleased to announce that it is expanding the distribution of its brands to the state of Rhode Island.

C&C Distributors, Inc., owned by the Mancini Family have been appointed to distribute the Yuengling portfolio of malt brewed beers in the state. Founded in 1959, their beverage companies now represent some of the most influential producers in the business, carrying major brands in most beverage categories. “On behalf of the entire staff at C&C Distributors, the Mancini Family is proud and honored to represent the Yuengling brands for the state of Rhode Island. We are excited to bring the Yuengling story of Heritage, Authenticity, Quality and Family to Rhode Island retailers and consumers”, states Ken Mancini, President.

The initial rollout is targeted for June and will include Yuengling’s flagship beer, Traditional Lager as well as its award winning Yuengling Light Lager and Black & Tan brands. This expansion is a long awaited return to the state after scaling back in the 1990’s due to supply limitations. Rhode Island will become the sixteenth state in the brewery’s footprint.

“It’s been a long time but we’re really excited to return to Rhode Island. Consumers have been patiently asking and we’re now ready to satisfy those demands” adds David Casinelli, COO at Yuengling. “We are very much looking forward to our new partnership with the Mancini family and strive to exceed everyone’s expectations.”

The brewery plans to initially introduce the brands as draft in the on premise channel, immediately followed by package offerings at retail.
