Widmer Brothers - Der Uber Tuber & Kill Devil

image
Today we get the first look at two more beers coming from the Widmer Brothers Thirty Beers For Thirty Years series of Anniversary beers.  Der Uber Tuber is a hoppy, “experimental potato-based beer” and it was originally brewed for the Oregon Brewers Fest and it will use Simcoe hops.  Look for this beer to come in at 7% ABV and 44 IBU.  Kill Devil comes to us from 2012 and it is a brown ale that uses blackstrap molasses and palm sugar.  90% of this beer is brewed with pal sugar and molasses and aged in Rum barrels and that s blended with 10% ale.  Kill Devil will come in at 9.5% ABV and both of these beers will be packaged in 22oz bottles.
