From Idle Hands:
If you haven't been to the brewery in a while you've been missing out on some of our new releases:
Adelais - An unfiltered German Pilsner. This is the last lager of the season and the first one that we've bottled. It combines both old and new world German hops (Hallertauer Hersbrucker and Saphir) to create a wonderful mixture of noble and fruity hop character. You can find it on the shelves of many of our retail partners as well as at the brewery packaged in traditional 500ml (16.9oz) German lager bottles.
Enlightenment Ales: Song of Myself - A hoppy, American Ale. If hops are what you crave, you need to get your hands on Batch 2 of this darling. We changed the hopping significantly from Batch 1; upping the grapefruit/juicy flavors & aromas, dropping the dankness and trimming out much of the bitterness. We'll have plenty of this version at the brewery for growler fills but sorry, no bottles of Batch 2.
Bug Juice - A hoppy, Belgian Strong Pale. For those who were lucky enough to sample this one-off at the DrinkCraftBeer Springfest, we are putting on the last of what we have in stock for growler fills at the brewery starting on Wednesday. Get it before it's gone because there are only two small kegs left!
More Idle Hands [Not]!
We are happy to announce that one of our long time volunteers/helping hands has officially joined the Idle Hands family as our first part-time Assistant Brewer. Everyone please join us in welcoming Brett Bauer (aka @BeerGeekBrett) next time you see him. Brett took the leap of faith in leaving a career in biotech manufacturing to come on board to scrub tanks, floors and kegs for us. Every once in a while, we let him scrub the kettle too! [And he does it all with a smile on his face!].
