Two Brothers Brewing

announced the release of a new craft brew, Engine No. 1, developed in celebration of the Warrenville Fire Department’s 75th anniversary. All proceeds from the Kolsch-style beer will benefit the Hundred Club of DuPage County, a private, non-profit organization offering assistance to families of fallen law enforcement and fire department members.

“Engine No. 1 symbolizes our commitment to the people who serve and protect us in this community,” said Jason Ebel, co-owner of Two Brothers Brewing Company. “We have enjoyed working with local community leaders for the last 17 years and are thrilled to have the opportunity to give back locally in this way.”

As summer quickly approaches, the brothers set out to create a classic Kolsch ale recipe for the new brew. Engine No. 1 will have a bright, straw-yellow hue, medium body and a dry, refreshing flavor.

Two Brothers Brewing Company is hosting a party celebrating the release of Engine No. 1 on Sunday April, 6 at the Two Brothers Tap House in Warrenville. In addition to donating contributions from beer sales, a Warrenville Fire Department commemorative coin and specialty glassware will be available for purchase to benefit the Hundred Club of DuPage County.
